Mechelen is a city with a rich culture and a deep history. It is no surprise that the city has won many amazing prizes and awards.
For instance, Mechelen has multiple UNESCO mentions and they are on the second highest spot in Flanders with the number of protected buildings. Fun fact: mayor Bart Somers won the "World Mayor Award" in 2016.
Our stay at Boris & Barney was lovely. We were welcomed very warmly and enjoyed the beautiful accommodation. The breakfast was magnificent, thanks to the local products. We really recommend it!
